K&C Diving has extensive experience with pouring underwater concrete. It already completed projects for construction sites, soil-protecting tar mats and concrete floors on te bottom.
A product is added to underwater concrete to avoid that the concrete flushes away during pouring. It is also poured using a special mould, to achieve the desired pouring level. This is the so-called float system. K&C Diving developed its own float system, which is more accurate than thee traditional methods.
For applications such as construction pits, the poured underwater concrete is not usually the end result. It often serves as a buffer against rising groundwater. As well as drying out the construction pit, this also creates a work floor where the construction can take place ‘under normal conditions’.
