Date: January 2017

Project duration: varies, depending on project

Location: quay walls in various ports and along various waterways in Belgium

Division: K&C Diving

Project type: Port and waterways infrastructure

One condition for drilling in quay walls or concrete banks below the water level is that the water side must be dry. This can be achieved by temporarily installing a sealed steel construction on the wet side of the quay wall.

K&C Diving independently built a series of cofferdams for this type of drilling. These coffers can be used up to a depth of 7 metres and along a width of 2.5 to 3.5 metres.

K&C Diving can also produce filler panels for drying out quay walls of deviating sizes.

Furthermore, the workshop develops and produces completely new cofferdams for specific projects.
